Introduction to Bailing
“If you’re afraid to fall, you fall because you’re afraid.”
– Daniel Ilabaca
This quote by the legendary parkour athlete Daniel Ilabaca can also impart some wisdom to handbalancing.
But how do you overcome your fear of falling? Well that’s what the drills in our Bail training session will help you with.
Welcome to Bail, Handstand Factory’s free session around safely exiting a handstand. Many give up on learning to handstand when they struggle to control their exit. And we understand why.
The shortcoming of many handbalancing teachers and methods is they don’t graduate the skill of falling in the same way they gradually progress other elements of handbalancing. You don’t have to start with a freestanding handstand to roll or a plie out. Yet these tamer progressions seem to be underutilized.
This training session is made of the approachable, overlooked bailing drills and the coaching concepts we’ve given hundreds thousands of people to control their handstand exit.
