FEATURES OF THE HANDSTAND LINE CORRECTOR™
Shoulder Opener
The padded Shoulder Opener component makes a collapsed, closed shoulder impossible by using your spine as a counter-lever to forcibly align your arms into the ideal overhead angle. Once inverted, it encourages you to maintain ideal alignment, as closing your shoulders will press the shoulder opener component into your carotid arteries, leading to discomfort, dizziness, and with poor enough form, loss of consciousness. As such your survival instincts will kick in, awakening a new level of shoulder flexion.
Postural Support
Our adjustable Postural Support component fits a variety of builds and body types. Unlike traditional postural support devices, the added stability and patent-pending spinal rod doesn’t merely support a standard posture, but completely eliminate any-and-all kyphosis for a perfectly straight, stacked spine.
The rod also tracks down your entire spine, past your tailbone to inhibit lumbar curvature as well as preventing anterior pelvic tilt. No need to think about “tucking your tailbone” when it’s blocked by a pole.
Leg Stopper
The bottom (or top depending on how you look at it) of The Handstand Line Corrector™ affixes a Leg Stopper component to the end of our back support rod to prevent a wide variety of leg shape errors that commonly occur during handstands such as:
- Over-kicking to cartwheel
- Bent knees pulling you into overbalance
- Heel drift overhead leading to swayback
Using the latest in lightweight plastics, the leg stopper and back support do not interfere with your inversion, yet still provide unmatched stability while you balance on your hands.
