Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist Application

We are looking for a social media savvy movement practitioner who would like to blend their passion with their career.

As our Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll manage the Handstand Factory social media accounts. You’ll also manage the accounts of our sister brand, Modern Methods of Mobility. You’ll be in charge of crafting marketing campaigns, producing content, offering customer service, and reporting results.

Being a small business, you’ll have ample autonomy and directly contribute to our success with opportunities to grow as we do! We’re an international team that mainly works remotely, so you’ll set your own schedule – but you’ll still be able to visit us in Ireland on occasion. You’ll also enrich your coaching and physical training through in-depth study of our products and direct communication with Emmet, Mikael, Isaac and the rest of our coaches.

You’ll put this knowledge to good use by assisting our social media followers with form checks and technical support.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the social media presence for our brands: Handstand Factory and Modern Methods of Mobility.
  • Craft social media strategies for our online platforms. While we’ve been focusing strongly on Instagram, we would like to expand adequately on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Content Creation: Capturing video and photography, transforming the raw materials via editing software, and crafting successful pieces of content adequate for each platform (Posts, Reels, Stories, etc)
  • Upcycle valuable content from our Podcasts, Programs, and other relevant existing material to create valuable Social Media Content.
  • Coordinate the creation of Blogs, tutorials, and other pieces of content made by our coaches.
  • Make use of the Social Media scheduling tool Later.
  • Strategize and execute paid marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure that the social media platforms stay alive, highly focusing on fostering engagement and connections with our audience.
  • Promote and sell all products and services. This includes our Programs, Online Coaching, In-person events, Blogs, Coaches appearances and collaborations among others.
  • Generate reports on objectives and results and evaluate our marketing performance through comparative reporting.
  • Communication and coordination with an international team.
  • Work remotely with flexible hours, with occasional in-person team meetings in Ireland.

Tools we use:

  • Social Media Tools: Canva and Later.
  • Editing and content creation tools used by our previous Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist: Adobe Creative Cloud, Topaz upscaling, ChatGPT.
  • Team Communication Tools: Asana and Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
  • WordPress: Avada theme with the WooCommerce e-commerce platform.
  • Email Marketing: Mailchimp.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience curating, managing, and growing a brands social media presence through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other Social Media platforms.
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager.
  • A movement background covering handbalance and flexibility training, with a keen interest in diving deeper into these topics (for example Circus Arts, Yoga, Pole Dance, Contemporary Dance, Calisthenics, and Gymnastics)
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
  • Content creation: Experience with Canva, the Adobe Suite or similar, and/or Later or similar, as well as experience in graphic design, and/or video editing, and/or storytelling.
  • Copywriting: Ability to boil down complex and verbose concepts and definitions into short, simple, and digestible ideas.
  • Editing: Flawless spelling, grammar, and proofreading at a very high level with little to no errors.

Nice to haves:

  • Living and registered in Ireland.
  • EU resident with the ability to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Management Graphic Design, or other related field.
  • Direct experience with our products and services.
  • Fitness coaching or personal training experience.
  • Direct customer service experience.
  • Experience with Mailchimp.
  • Experience with WordPress, the Avada theme, WooCommerce.
